Musical fundraiser in Berkeley–Saturday, February 28th
Acharya Mangalananda will be sharing kirtan with his full band of talented musicians.

Once again Thacher and Olivia Hurd will be hosting their annual fundraising concert for the Ashram School run by Swami Gurusharanananda in India, on Feb 28th.
New Location: The kirtan this year will be held this year at the Berkeley Yoga Center, Studio C, at 2121 Bonar St. in Berkeley. (see map and instructions below)
Schedule:
6pm: Indian snacks in Thacher’s studio (Studio D, right next door to Studio C)
7pm to 9pm Kirtan in Studio C with Mangalananda’s full band.
Acharya Mangalananda, one of the founders of the school, will share the spirited kirtan of village India. This call and response chanting represents the deepest tradition of devotional chant and healing vibrations. Come and enjoy a joyous evening of spiritual music and good food to support a truly worthwhile project.
DIRECTIONS: The Berkeley Yoga Center is located at 2121 Bonar, Studio C. It is one and a half blocks south of University Ave. in Berkeley. Also know as the Strawberry Creek Design Building.
There are two large old factory buildings on Bonar; between the wooden one and the brick one is the door to 2121 Bonar. Enter *YOGA (YOGA with an asterisk first) on the keypad to the left and pull the door open. Go up the outside stairs to the top and turn right. Studios C and D are down the walkway.
