Monthly Kirtan at Open Secret

Join me, along with Bob Couillard on guitar, and Gangadhar on tabla for my monthly kirtan “class” at Open Secret.

During these sessions, we will together explore the depths of kirtan, explaining the words, Ragas, Traditions, legends and stories that accompany the ancient Indian chants. What do the words we sing really mean, and how do we invoke this Presence and Energy in the deepest way? Kirtan in depth will be explored, plus I will be sharing my life-long experience and association with India, and its Saints and music.
