Springtime Fire Ritual and Outdoor Kirtan

Saturday, May 17th; Kirtan and Fire Ritual at a private home in Fairfax; 3:00 — 7:00 PM. Address will be given upon RSVP
We have been invited to present a program in an amazing backyard space of a friend in Fairfax (near San Rafael in Marin). We will begin at 3:00 with a havan-yagya ceremony for Spring. This is an ancient ritual from the Indian Tradition with offerings of mantras and prayers into a sanctified fire with ghee (clarified butter) and seeds by the participants. This will enliven the elements of nature within us. This will be followed by a kirtan with my full band. After this we will have a potluck. Please bring a vegetarian dish if you can (dairy is fine). There is no charge for this event, but after the kirtan we’ll have a collection to pay my musicians. Please join us if you can! To RSVP, write me at
