Presented every year by Uma Reed.  \n
\nSliding scale at the door $20–$40 \n     Uma writes: Ganesh\, the sweet-tempered elephant-headed deity of Hinduism is praised as the remover of obstacles and bestower of success\, and is traditionally called upon at the start of any new undertaking. Come offer your prayers as we celebrate the New Year with songs invoking Ganesh through kirtan\, Vedic chant\, a prayer ritual and flower ceremony\, and Arati!\n     This year I’ll be joined by Mirabai and Acharya Mangalananda\, and my sons Matt and Jay. Gangadhar will be on tabla\, and his wife Rhonda will join us on tamboura. \nVENUE: Embrace Yoga\, 1122 4th St\, San Rafael (stairs)
