SUMMARY:Workshop in Swakriya Yoga\, followed by kirtan
DESCRIPTION:Take the next step in deepening your spiritual life by participating in the experience of Swakriya Yoga. This presentation is a specialty of Sri Anandamayi Ma Ashram in Omkareshwar\, India and is presented by Acharya Mangalananda\, a representative Teacher from that Ashram. Through the medium of simple movements\, breathing and guided meditations\, the participants can experience a widening of consciousness and a deep sense of the Unity of Life that all true spiritual teachers emphasize in their instructions. Relevant to aspirants in any stage of their practice. Acharya Mangalananda has received wonderful responses from these classes during his yearly tours of Europe. Workshop 1:00 –6:00\, followed by kirtan with full band at 7:30 \n  \n

SUMMARY:Kirtan at Sivananda Yoga Farm
DESCRIPTION:I will be leading kirtan at Sivananda Yoga Farm in Grass Valley\, CA on November 8th at 7:30. I will be joined by a wonderful female tabla player\, Aminah Chisti. She is a celebrated Quali musician (Sufi Tradition) and tours Pakistan every year. We will also have Andre Preece\, a fine local guitarist joining us in our group. The occasion of the kirtan is the graduation of the 2014 Yoga Teachers’ Training Group\, but it is open to the public. This is such a wonderful and beautiful venue we hope you will come!
