DESCRIPTION:Mangalananda and Friends have now recorded the album “Auspicious Bliss” to bring the ancient mantras of Sacred Chant alive\, give them beautiful settings and to capture the spirit of authentic kirtan. So it’s time for a CD Release Concert and Party on Sept 3rd! \nPerforming with Mangalananda are Prajna Vieira from the band Mukti; David Estes from his band Ananda Rasa Kirtan; Ramana Erickson on tabla; Greg Barnett on bass and acoustic classical; Bob Couillard on twelve-string acoustic; Susan Shloss on violin and Dharma Devi DeLong on flutes. Special guests will be Radhanath Das and Kilimbi Dasi. This experienced “Super Group” presents the chants with a shared chemistry\, artistry and enthusiasm that places kirtan on a new artistic & spiritual level. Come and share the Auspicious Bliss! \n
